At Saarahjasmin Couture, our bridal consultations are designed to be intimate, personalised, and unforgettable.

During your consultation, you are welcome to try on up to five gowns and ask as many questions as you wish. Our experienced bridal consultants will guide you every step of the way, offering expert advice and thoughtful recommendations tailored to your body type, skin tone, personal style, and wedding vision.

With our trained eye and couture expertise, we assist you in discovering a gown that not only flatters your figure — but truly reflects you.

Consultation Fee

As we offer a highly professional and exclusive service, a consultation fee applies.

Bridal Consultation Fee with Saarahjasmin:

R500.00

Our bookings fill quickly, therefore appointments are strictly by booking only to ensure each bride receives our undivided attention. Consultation fees are non refundable.

Our first priority is getting to know you as a bride — this allows us to curate the most suitable gown options and create a seamless, enjoyable experience.

Trying On Wedding Gowns

Trying on gowns helps both you and our team determine which silhouettes complement you best. From there, ideas are exchanged and professional recommendations are made to guide you toward the perfect choice.

Please note:

We are a boutique bridal studio and therefore carry limited stock. Our in-store sample sizes range from UK 6–12.

Consultation Duration

Each bridal consultation lasts one hour, which is more than sufficient to explore your vision and preferred styles.

Gown Production Timeline

We work on a first-come, first-served basis.

• We recommend placing your order 4–6 months before your wedding date.

• Ready-to-wear gowns from our collection can be completed within approximately 3 months.

Last-Minute Brides (Rush Orders)

We do offer a Rush Order Service, allowing your gown to be designed and completed within 30–45 days.

Rush Order Fee:

From R3,500.00 (excluded from gown cost)

Once You’ve Found “The One”

If you’ve found your dream gown, we will proceed with:

• Taking full body measurements

• Reviewing and signing the bridal contract

• Initiating the design or ordering process

Quoting & Pricing

An estimated quote may be provided during your consultation.

However, due to the bespoke nature of our gowns — including specialised lace, fabrics, and handwork — a fixed quote cannot always be guaranteed on the day.

Once final costs are calculated, a detailed fixed quotation will be emailed to you.

Payment Structure

• 85% of the total cost is required to commence production

• 15% is payable upon final collection

• Consultation fee: R350.00 with a SJC studio assistant (payable upfront to secure your booking)

• Consultation with Saarahjasmin fee: R500.00 (payable upfront to secure your booking)
