I grew up in a family of artists in the Cape Flats. My grandmother was a skilled seamstress, and my mother spent 40 years in the clothing industry, starting at the young age of 14 at a factory in Lansdowne.

As a young girl, I was fortunate enough to be around the fashion industry and learn from my family. I developed a love for the creativity and passion that my mom and gran displayed through their work.

At 17, I started working on film sets and attending fashion events, which further fueled my passion for design, couture, and art. I began making my pieces for these events, and after receiving positive feedback, I realized that designing and making evening and wedding dresses was my true passion.

With support from my family and partner at the time, I launched Ngozi-Ka Bespoke in 2017. Our goal is to help our clients confidently showcase their unique beauty in resplendent yet comfortable attire.

Our dresses are romantic, feminine, sophisticated, and alluring, with each piece tailored to the client’s style and needs. For clients struggling with sizing, we make each Ngozi-Ka piece by hand and customize it to their measurements and preferences. We want to help you look and feel breathtaking on your special day.
