I was born into a world of artistry and craftsmanship in the Cape Flats. My grandmother, a masterful seamstress, and my mother, who devoted over 40 years to the fashion industry from the age of 14, were my earliest inspirations. From childhood, I absorbed the passion, precision, and creativity that define true couture.

By 17, I began working on film sets and attending fashion events, experiences that deepened my love for design and artistry. I started creating pieces for these occasions, and with every compliment and admiring glance, I knew that designing exquisite evening and bridal gowns was my true calling.

In 2017, I launched Saarahjasmin Couture, a brand born from a devotion to luxury, individuality, and timeless elegance. Our mission is to craft gowns that are not only breathtakingly beautiful but also meticulously tailored to reflect each client’s unique essence.
